I gave the item 3 stars because it was broken (plastic wiring harness fitting broken at base when it arrived). It is unacceptable for such an item to arrive damaged. My guess is that the packaging was poor. The plastic base was superglued back on and so far it seems to work fine. Updates will be performed on the part for as long as it continues to function.

It is as simple as disconnecting and unscrewing the old switch on the passenger side, and replacing it with the new one. Thankfully, the reverse lights have once more started working.
