Some people have noticed a difference in the back-and-forth in their conversations. The factory unit provides lighting, but this switch is located low on the dash, not far from the driver's left knee, and is not in the driver's direct line of sight, so I don't think it's a problem unless you're very picky about your ten-year-old truck. The switch's face is identical to that of the factory switches, and it fits perfectly in the factory location.
It's a good match, which I like. When compared to the old one, the new one has a slightly softer color light at night. Everything works as it should, and I am completely satisfied with this product, which came at a great price. Shipping was quick, and the company provided excellent information, so if you have any questions, they will be happy to assist you. It was simple to set up. It appeals to me and I am pleased with it.
This arrived on time and in perfect condition. So far, nothing noteworthy, except that the backlight does not match the OEM switches, as others have pointed out. It's a bluish-green color instead of yellow. The color is a light green. If you're bothered by this, spend the extra cheddar on an AC Delco part.
It has the same feel as the original. The color has a slight blue tint to it, but it blends in well with the lights in my truck because it can't be seen past the steering wheel. Everything is in working order.
Illuminated blue instead of stock white The switch is illuminated blue rather than the factory white, making it stand out like a sore thumb, but it still works.
My 2004 Silverado looks great with them. The backlights are a little off, but everything else is fine.
It works great; as others have stated, the illuminated color is blueish, but I honestly can't tell because the steering wheel covers it while driving. If you don't mind the inconvenience, this is a great deal when compared to the original Acdelco.
This is an excellent OEM substitute. It's a bright light. It performs as expected.
