The price is unbeatable; I purchased the OEM DR1088 about a month ago. My 2002 Jeep has it installed. I took out the passenger headlight. To install the relay, you'll need to cut the plastic. It included all of the necessary components, as well as new plugin wiring that I did not use. I turned off the old unit. The new one was plugged in. There is no longer any overheating. cool AC. The price is hard to beat.
It was a little difficult to install (not the item's fault), but once it was done, it worked perfectly.
This item is labeled "made in China," not "made in the United States. " Not at all what they said.
This is an exact oem replacement part, and it even comes with the new plug assembly, which is something that not many other companies offer. THANK YOU, AMAZON, ANOTHER TIME.
As a result, this was added as a bonus. There was no need for it. As a result, this part became an afterthought, and it was too late to return.
It does exactly what it says. Installation was a pain, and Jeep engineers should reconsider where they placed need-to-know information. components that have been replaced.
Even when the jeep is turned off, the fan continues to run because it is wired in. This is a complete and utter waste of time. This isn't a mediocre product; it's a piece of Chinese garbage.
The colors of the wiring were not the same. After I figured that out, I was able to get some work done.
