My previous device had been bought for a lower price and one of the circuit board traces blew out the moment I tried to use Essentially, the switch that was in use caused this problem. Due to the fact that I just purchased the Suburban used, I am unsure whether its original owner attempted to replace the switch. The more expensive variety made sense to me after reading comments, and I'm glad I used it.

A great switch to replace the old one

There was an exact match between this switch and the OEM's I could not find a way to connect the connector and the switch fit perfectly onto the door panel. The mirrors are now able to be adjusted again, and I'm thankful.
