It is only the sensor, not the entire Mass Air Flow unit, that is malfunctioning. The sensor is built into the housing. I hope this has been of assistance!

It appears to be genuine and. This product was a nightmare to work with. It appeared to be genuine and functioned, but the engine light continued to illuminate with the message "system running too lean" (indicating the mass air flow sensor). The only thing that made the error go away was when I finally agreed to allow the garage to install a new air mass flow sensor after having the vehicle in the shop twice, both times insisting that the mass airflow sensor is new, so it must be something else, and thus being billed for "gasket leaks" in an attempt to solve the issue. The issue has been resolved. As a result, this one had been faulty from the start.
Two days after the installation, the engine light came back on. After taking the LR3 to an independent Land Rover mechanic, they discovered that the mass air flow sensor, despite being brand new, was not giving the correct reading. br>br>I wish I had spent the extra money on the fort tome so that I could have gotten the right one.
The product was damaged when it arrived from the factory. It's a good thing I noticed it before opening the package.
MY PROBLEM HAS BEEN SOLVED.
On a Lexus is300, it does not work. With this one installed, the car performed the worst. I returned it and replaced it with a Denso model, which now works perfectly.
I'm all set to work on my car and open the package, but there's no sign of it! Come on!.
On idle, the engine exhibited hesitation and would stall. I returned it and replaced it with a Denso part.
It worked perfectly and without a hitch. simple to set up.
