Selected User Reviews For Vixen Horns 4-PIN Horn Relay 30A/12V for Train/Air Horn VXA7444
In order to accomplish what the product was advertised for, it was used as a fog lamp relay. This lasted less than one hour and began smoking after that. After my installer opened the unit the following day, he found that it had been burned. He installed a relay with the same rating from his shop and it has so far been working without any problems for a few days. From my experience with this product, I must assume it is either poorly made or I just happened to receive a bad unit as a result of This product is not recommended either way!.
I believe this relay works. Despite the faulty relay, it had worked for less than 2 minutes before I caught wind of It is too long for the top piece to fit over the fuse block cover of a 96 Mustang, so it does not fit as indicated. To replace the one I had, I paid $12 at autozone. For the fog lights, I purchased a relay that costs around $2. 20 plus tax. I suspect this relay will work for horns, but perhaps.
fersure for correction of hearing loss.
As far as I can tell, this relay works. In my boat I installed it as well as a vixen electric horn. In order to prevent my switch from wearing out from the higher amp load of the horn, I went with a relay.
There is nothing good about them. Three minutes was all it took for it to burn out on a 9 amp load. My profession is that of an electrician. In its place, I replaced the relay with an O'Rileys and it's been working perfectly You can purchase the auto parts for $9 at the.
I love this product! It works really well.
It lasted less than a week before I noticed the bad smell.
I like it.
