Questions & Answers

In what part of the horn is the horn? The one I have is 1994 Toyota Sienna, and I want to replace it with ?

Hello, the description says "intermotor horn" but we are not professionals so we have no idea how it might be used. However, I would assume it would replace your actual horn to enhance Thanks for your kind words!

Could you tell me if the horn shown here is identical to that pictured? The connections I use look like the ones in the picture, so there will be no need for cutting. Thanks for your kind words! ?

Thanks for stopping by, these are stock photos so it may look like it but I can't guarantee it. Thank you for your understanding

Do they make a lot of noise?

This horn would be deemed medium loud by me. It also depends on the direction in which the horn is pointed.

Can you tell me whether this horn plays on high or low notes?

Low notes are suppose to be used in this song. had to replace one on my kids' truck due to a defective one and he was disappointed when he heard how high it sounded.

It has a slight difference in tone between the original and this version
4/5

The product arrived quickly, seemed to be well-made, and could be installed with relatively little effort. I was able to install a low tone and a high tone horn on my son's 2001 Ford F150. In place of the low tone horn, this was installed. The song is as loud as the original, but the tone seems higher than the original, and there may be some tinny tones.

The horn is an excellent replacement for the Dodge Neon 2005
4/5

Having difficulty finding a replacement horn for my daughter's 2005 Dodge Neon proved to be challenging. Although I wish the volume were a bit louder, the product was installed without any.

This is a very good replacement
5/5

The horn is the thing. I think it sounds nearly the same as the original, mounts correctly, and the electrical connections work. In the end, this should be what a replacement should get and is third the price of the dealer part. No way to know if it will last, but it looks great.

The OEM3 is not the original The horn on the 1999 Saturn SL1 would need to be replaced with wire
3/5

Only the 2-way version of this horn is available for installation Horn made out of wire. In the case of a 2-way installation A wire horn is no longer able to chirp for the locking car, and the signal from a security alarm will not go to the horn. It's to pass state inspection (in my case) and to use this horn as a two A diode of at least 1N4001 1A 100V (or a diode of 1N5401 3A 100V) should be soldered across the horn connectors to prevent damage to the contacts inside the horn and the steering wheel horn button. If you want to make the short pigtail coming off of the head light even shorter, then you will have to cut off the existing connector. Therefore, you might want to find a similar connector (I could not find one on the harness) or choose the preferred method described in the In case you are looking for a challenge, look at the plastic connector housing on the original 3-inch There is still a circuit in the wire horn (which is sealed inside the green material) that still works. If the 3 plastic rivets that hold the circuit board to the horn cannot be removed with a 1/4" drill, then use a 1/8" drill bit to drill about 1/8" below the surface. The circuit assembly can be attached to any device as long as the circuit assembly has been removed from the horn. Adding short wires from the circuit board assembly to the replacement horn is a good plan, since you may need to replace that horn in the near Connect the new horn to the connector from the old one and test the leads with a meter or small test light to see if the horn button and remote lock work. Check if it works by testing the horn now. It is likely that the problem will continue to be intermittent as oxide build up on the contacts inside the horn will cause the contacts to corrode over time. In my opinion, it makes no sense to pay more for an aftermarket OEM horn that does not exist, so I recommend replacing it with a cheaper alternative (I found a few cheaper ones before I mistakenly bought this one). In contrast to most people, who incorrectly believe a relay is needed to switch power to the horn, this is not true. truth, the horn functions in the same way as a relay, except when a coil is actuated, a small dowel vibrates, which resonates with a thin metal disk, causing the horn to I hope you have a fun time.
