URO Parts 3523608 Fuel Pump Relay

Well, after a few months, my headlights started malfunctioning. I couldn't turn on either of them, nor could I turn on my radio. I was also unable to operate the power locks on the car. The issue could be intermittent, one day working, then the next not so much. As far as I can tell, it had to do with the circuitry but I couldn't In the end, it's a 34 year old car. After that, I noticed that I had a speck of smoke in the fuse box left of my leg when I was driving and smelt something strange in the car like something was getting heated up. After I pulled over, I opened it up and discovered the fuel pump fuse was overheating. Let's just say I figured it was due to There was no heat, it looked and worked adequately, but I had a feeling so I swapped out my old OEM spare in the glove compartment. I have had no further problems since then, except that it had burned out the headlight relay so I had to replace it. The locks worked immediately after I replaced x, the headlights worked (kind of lol), and the radio turned on after I replaced it.

Consequently, I'm pretty sure I'm going to replace my fuel pump after I remove the one from the inside of the tank.

I have so far had a good experience! I found that this relay was the most economical way to fix my fuel pump problems on my 1990 Volvo 240.
