The damage cannot be repaired. This replacement shipped the same day as I ordered it! As soon as you plug it in, It's that easy! A real charm from the very beginning! I guess I won't have to worry anymore about getting stuck, hoping to get the car started. There is no doubt in my mind now! Hopefully the Honda will get a few more years of life because of Amazon, along with new manufacturing of old car parts!.
Our experience has been good so far. The car works well. I was a little nervous after reading some of the reviews, but we had no problems. Starting it up is fine. I can shift it fine. There is no problem with anything at the moment. It was necessary to replace this part because I had a starting problem on a hot summer day when my car was in direct sunlight. In addition to dash light issues, the replacement of this relay was prompted by some dash light malfunctions. We must have saved some money for this part because I'm so glad it worked out. This part came with cruise control on the car I replaced it on, which added a few extra steps to the installation. If you do not have socket extensions, I suggest you get some. Their assistance was greatly appreciated. With a flashlight shining upwards through the front camera of my phone, I was also able to give a sense of how a cabin under the steering wheel would look. I was told to contact via email for help, but I was unable to locate any contact information.
Just received the relay, and it appears to be in good condition. A proof of the pudding is in the eating. Once I know if this relay is as good as it looks, I'll know if it's worth the cost. Therefore, I shall let you all know when I find out.
It worked great to fix the problem I was having with my fuel pump on my 1993 Honda Accord. I am very happy so far with this product and would recommend it.
