Can this be installed in a 2003 SL500 in place of the K75?

It may be that I can make a suggestion, but I can't make one to anyone I'm sorry.

What are the chances of getting an original Hella boxed part? One review implies that it is a reproduction. Notice that the photos do not feature either the Hella logo or hella brand?

No suspicion of counterfeit was ever raised in my mind. I believe the Hella logo was there, but I'm not sure for sure. The software has been working fine for me for over a year, maybe 2 years.

In my case, I need to replace a relay with the same mfg number, but the part number ends with 79100 rather than 791011 as one for sale has. How about working if I don't have a computer?

From the description it seems like it is the same part, A feeling of cheapness emanates from tested it on a bench and it seems to be running fine. Although I have replaced the bad relay, I still get an engine check light. I don't know if it is another problem or if this knock off relay is not functioning correctly even though it passed a bench test because I tested at lower levels than it would need to carry.
