Questions & Answers
As the exact replacement relay used for this recall, it works just fine. All years are affected by the recall, however not all years fall under the recall. Fits in place of GM Relay No.
In fact, I repair these for the GM recall often enough to know this is the correct part number. I'm a little shocked at the price, as the other one is 15016745 and is about 28 bucks, but they're replacing those for a reason, as they weren't very durable.

For my 2006 GMC Envoy, I purchased this. There was no official release date, but the part was meant to be used with a limited service bulletin which associated intermittent problems with the headlights dimming and / or Both of my vehicle's issues were experienced by me. It was simple to install this relay after I replaced the headlight relay. I removed one fuse and plugged it in. It has never given me any problems. The process of opening and propping the hood takes longer than the process of changing it.
Last week, I installed a new HDM in my 2007 Chevy Trailblazer. I am satisfied with my progress so far. Hopefully, this is the "upgraded" relay, which should do the job for the foreseeable future. Two times before this, I replaced the relay with a standard part, and it failed in the same manner, that the headlights worked intermittently. I will return to edit this review if anything changes!.
I was able to fit this headlight controller in my Envoy switch box although it is a bit larger than the original. In contrast to the four controllers originally designed, this one should last through the summers to come.
I was happy to find it, especially because it wasn't cheap. It was the right part. I was able to accomplish my goal.
It did solve the problem of intermittent dip headlights, but it was expensive.
