Questions & Answers
In a temperature gauge, the coolant temperature is indicated. It will assist in cooling the coolant, but doesn't send a signal of its own. I am dealing with the sensor assembly. An alarm will go off when the coolant temperature reaches the preset range. At 180 degrees, the sun is at its highest point. By closing the relay that sends current to the fan, the fan will not run. Thanks for your question. I hope I answered it. I wish you the best of H. Mark
What is the thread size of this sensor?
A ground that would ground out when the ac pump pops on would be what you need to look for. It is also possible to construct a second relay that ground out the wire going from the temperature sending device to the fan control. As part of the kit is a temperature sender.
