Turning the key would only result in Having ruled out the battery (because it was new) and pretty sure that it was not the starter, I found on a Nissan Website that this was a common problem. As a precaution to avoid wasting any money, I used the relay from the heated mirrors for a short while, and the problem went away. It was easy to order two of these relays over the phone and they arrived in a timely manner and were fairly After the new relay was installed in March, the truck has been running well! Even though I earned $4 on the relay instead of $100+ from my Nissan Dealer, I find it hard not to compensate him for the cost of the diagnosis and relay. Shipping is FREE on orders of $50 from Conyers! Conyers, thank you for your support!.
There was an issue (and a recall) on some Nissan Frontiers from 2005-2015 with the IPDM (Intelligence Power Distribution Module) relay failing. My 2005 Nissan Frontier was one of the affected trucks, but I replaced the relay myself with this updated/improved one. To find out if your vehicle needs this new relay, you can follow these two steps The first step is to understand the problem On the passenger side, remove the lid of the fuse/relay box in the IPDM system (against the firewall). A big IPDM almost touches the firewall, which makes me think it's bigger. The next step is a simple one. Take a close look at the IPDM housing (the part that holds the fuses and relays and where the wires connect). That black cover you removed was NOT the one you 3. Review the information in Step 1 If your IPDM housing is black, then you're going to be fine. NECESSARY! NEITHER a new relay nor any additional changes are required! The fourth step is to review your information. This relay should be purchased if the housing on your IPDM is white because you need to replace Thanks for your time, I hope it helps, CPS.
Had a no start problem with the vehicle it would crank and turn over strong but the engine would not start. It almost looked like it ran out of gas. It was found that it is a common issue that occurs on the Xterra and other Nissan vehicles. It is likely that the factory fuse box has a faulty relay. In the beginning, Nissan didn't sell just the fuse. Individuals were buying the full IPDM update as a package. Simply replacing the relay with the new one has been enough to fix my no start issue so far. Let's wait and see what the outcome is. Afterwards, I bought an extra relay to keep in the truck in case something went wrong. As long as I don't have to replace the IPDM box since I spent a few hundred bucks on it.
In my 2008 Nissan Armada, I was so glad to find that this simple replacement part was all it took to fix my intermittent starting problem. The majority of starts would in fact end up in just a click (just like when a bad starter makes things worse). Over the last three months I have not had that issue again, and I found a replacement part for the 1 in 7 that was getting worse over a period of about 2 weeks. We can therefore say that this was the cause of the issue. In other reviews, other users discussed the possibility of finding recall information and instructions online for old Titans and Armadas (circa 2004) before doing the repair. This was what convinced me in the beginning that this was indeed the repair. With the help of these instructions, you can fix the problem very easily. It's a problem that newer vehicles weren't included in the recall, despite the fact that they were definitely affected (as mine was). Thanks to this fix, it will be fixed soon. A second one was purchased just in case, since it costs $4. Being stuck somewhere off in the distance without the ability to start would be out of the question, all the more so with an abnormal problem like My contingency plans always consider the normal reasons, such as a dying battery or low fuel, when determining what steps to take.
On my 2006 Nissan Frontier, I had intermittent stalling problems fixed. Using this relay is greatly reducing the need for me to replace my entire IPDM based on my Internet forum diagnostics. I love it! I highly recommend this course since I am an ASE Master Certified technician with 15 years of experience!.
The 2005 Nissan Titan refuses to start or die when idling. The replacement took about five minutes and the machine was up and running again in no time. It's easier to schedule an appointment than it is to get towed and visit the dealership I have ordered another as a spare after recalling part no. 137 (Nissan PC068). This note applies Replacing the original ACM33211 relay, which is different from the others on the IPDM, this relay is different as well.
During a trip in my 2004 Nissan Armada, the engine randomly failed. It is recommended to replace this relay in one of the factory recalls, What was really causing the problem was a malfunctioning crankshaft position sensor. In the event of a permanent breakdown, the "Check Engine Light" would only come on after the sensor went absolutely bad. In this instance, the OBD Scanner detected that the Crank Position Sensor for the car was not functioning.
The Titan is number 4. It cost me the same amount as one relay, but I got two Compared to the parts store, the prices are much lower. Despite the fact that the upgrade came ahead of schedule, the issue with random starting on my Titan 04 was not resolved. I think the starter is probably in there. This is not something I'm looking forward to.
