Probably. Relay switches are common, but if you look up parts for your outboard on the internet, you'll find more information.

Is this part compatible with a 1993 Evinrude 140 4cyl? Is it possible that my relay only has the P/N 2624?

I only know it fit my 2000 Johnson 50 hp because the numbers didn't match, but it still worked.

For a 1996 Johnson 150 Ocean Runner, I couldn't tell if this was the fix or the switch. I installed the new relays (I also purchased a backup pair) and everything worked perfectly. Why not? It'll only set you back $15. I had no idea this was an item that needed to be replaced because it was worn out. I purchased the boat brand new, and this was the first time I had to replace the sails. From now on, I'll make sure to change them more often.

sorta! It's perfect for my application (an outboard tilt system). sorta! Instead of two 30 amp relays, I received two 40 amp relays. Because the wiring, fuse, and other electrical components were not changed, a higher amp rating should not be an issue. br> Nonetheless, it isn't exactly what I wanted. Regardless, since it's only been a week since it was installed, I'd be hesitant to rate performance.
