Product Description

It has a zinc-plated finish for exceptional corrosion resistance and is part of the Dico Model 10 Surge Brake Actuator range. It bolts over a tongue that is 3" wide and includes a coupler with a drop of 3" and a ball size of 2 5/16".

Does the backup solenoid have to be installed?

There is no backup solenoid in my possession

Can disk brakes be used with this device?

I believe the master cylinder needs to be swapped out for the correct one in order to be used with disc brakes. It is not possible as is.

Are there backup solenoids on it?

The backup process doesn't present any problems for me. It is possible to go uphill or downhill. As a result, it can be built in.

What is the effect of incorporating the reverse release or is there a need for an additional valve?

An additional reverse lock out solenoid is available for sale

For drilling the orifice behind, all it took was a good selection of progressive drill bits

Putting the disc in the drum machine instead of the disc version was a mistake. A good selection of progressive drill bits was all that was required for the orifice behind the matter cylinder and now it works as it should. The trailer is mounted on a tandem axle, so if I stop, I cannot tell whether it is behind me or not.
