Using a CPP500 steering box and a Jegs 30" steering column, I rebuilt the steering on my 1970 C10. It operates perfectly with the 1" diameter out put on the steering column.
They are made by welding a negative 3/4" tube inside a negative 1" DD tube. I am not quite aligning the two parts of mine. It cannot be fixed during alignment, so it is not a deal breaker. I'm a little disappointed with the quality of this part. It's very expensive.
This piece of equipment was perfect for coupling the ends of Ididit steering columns in my restoration effort.
I am pleased with the quality of the coupler. The 1" double-sided tape does not play well with the 1" A wasn't aligned with a 3/4" double-sided sheet The insert needs to be welded before the weld. In turn, this led to the steering wheel being misaligned. If all else fails, a goal product will be produced,.
This is a quality product.
Well made part from Bergeson.
