This set of three Keyed Alike trailer coupler/tongue locks is ideal for situations where multiple locks are required but only one key is required. All three locks are opened with the same key. Because each lock comes with two keys, you'll get a total of six keys when you buy this three-pack. A limited lifetime warranty is provided.

Unattended trailers are protected by these locks, which prevent towing-away theft. The universal trailer coupler lock fits Reese, Fulton, Valley, Atwood, Shelby, Putnam, Hammerblow, Dutton, Lainson, and UFP couplers that are 1-7/8in (48mm), 2in (51mm), and most 2-5/16in (59mm).

Because the lock rests on top of the coupler when it's locked on the trailer (see image), it's difficult to defeat because blunt force from downward hammer strikes is thwarted. It also rotates (lower rigidity), making it more difficult to break with a sledge hammer.

With an advanced locking mechanism that resists picking and prying, a rekeyable cylinder for keyed alike convenience is available. The weight of each lock is 2. 4 lbs. It's also easy to set up and take down.

Reinforced Zinc Die-Cast is resistant to rust and corrosion. Only a few materials can match zinc alloys' strength and toughness. Cast aluminum alloys, plastics, and grey cast iron all have significantly lower impact resistance. Zinc alloys have high strengths (up to 60,000 psi) and excellent elongation, making them ideal for bending, crimping, and riveting.

Although it appears to be a good deterrent, I am confident that if they want the trailer and have the necessary tools, they will be able to remove it. What options are available to you? It's a good product for the money, but only time will tell if it's worth it.
