Alternators can be purchased for a lower price than brand new ones

Although I have not yet used it, since Ford replaces an alternator for this reason, it's a lot cheaper to unplug the old one, remove the 4 screws, install this and plug it in again making the good alternator last another ten years for much less than For an alternator, you would need to spend $600.

It would have worked on my 1990 Mustang GT, but when I wired it up I only received about 10 volts, so I plugged it into my old voltage regulator and it works fine. I should have done some more research before buying. Since I paid 00 for brushes, I guess at least that part worked! My fault it was.
I cannot be angry about it.
