There is no way that I can answer since most available today are off-shore built and may not be wired up the same way. By examining the labeling of the terminals, it is possible to identify the difference. There is one way of reading left to right. You're BATS. The Rt. Hon. Gen. There is also a label for another style. Those are bats. Prior to purchasing, make sure you compare the style being sold to what you have as the wires hookup is different and only a small percentage will provide the info on the wire connection as well as the polarizing. Just realized that this is for a vintage 6V machine from the 1940s. Here is a regulator that works with 12 volts.

The regulator on an old 1950's Massey Ferguson tractor with a 13 volt Delco generator worked for me when I replaced it with this regulator.

Is it possible to connect it to a positive ground? I have a 1942 McCormick Deering WD9 that runs on 12v, positive ?

A different regulator is recommended

The terminal under the regulator turned out to be disappointing. While mounted on the mounts, the terminal was in contact with my flat bench. By folding it up and using it this way, I still managed to use it. I haven't used it long enough to know how long it will last, but it seems to be far cheaper built than previous regulators I have purchased. I recommend a different regulator. There are some just a few dollars more that will do the job much better than the one you have.

I am pleased with the product, it appears to be good quality, and it works well. Using my 50 cents, I saved It would have cost me 70 bucks to go to NAPA autozone etc. You have just found it if you are in need of one. Using it on my IH CUB 106 there was no issue. But do learn and know how to polarize it properly, that's Click here for more information There are a number of YouTube videos that demonstrate how to polarize the generator and regulator if you weren't sure how.
