The fitment chart states that this is for a 1993 Chevy with a 4 cylinder. What is the difference between a 3L V6 and a 6L V8?

My guess is no. For a 1987 Chevy truck 5, I used it. Seven letters.

In my boat, I have a straight six Chevy 250. Will the Chevy 250 straight fit?

There were only some parts in the kit that could be used

Many of the washers and bushings included in this kit were too small for the way they were designed. We used a few old used prices to calculate the price. Originally, this was installed on a Remy starter on a 1976 GMC 350 engine.

A product that does not meet its description

This item is not compatible with the vehicle. A product that does not meet its description. The car it is supposed to fit does not fit the product. There was a delay of over a week before the order was shipped, so I'm not sure if trying to return is worth the effort.

There's a problem with the I cannot use the starter gear assembly (bendix) with the starter motor on my 1964 Chevrolet Corvair, even though the site says it fits

The starter assembly is too short. I noticed the drive did not engage properly with the ring gear after assembling it. Please keep in mind that this kit WILL NOT fit 61 and 60 A starter motor for a 1969 Corvair. It was disappointing, but I didn't feel the hassle of a return was worth it, because other parts in the kit such as bushings, brushes, and washers were fine.
