My task involves rewiring a 1967 Chevy Nova with a custom crate engine that will be installed in the near future. This connector is part of the custom wiring harness made for the older style 2-pin connector, so I was able to locate it. For the alternator, connect the position connector. easily find out the functions of each of the 4 wires by doing a Google search. As there is no ECU connection, I took out two of the four wires, and it looks as if the other one.

The diagnosis was a faulty charge harness and an alternator with a bad voltage regulator. There are a few wires that are a little loose within the connector body, and that is why I gave it As long as it does not meet these requirements, this would be the correct part. To prevent corrosion damage, you should put a little dielectric grease on the connector before you install it.

It worked fine to convert a wiring harness to work with a new alternator style

I can recommend it. The repair went well, however, there are no instructions or wiring diagrams, so you have to figure that out on your own. However, if you're doing a full replacement of an existing 4-hole faucet, this is not a big problem. This harness connects the wires.
