There is no way I can take the time and hassle of removing the alternator yet again and unsoldering the replacement and then installing the next one, along with having to put the first one back into the box since I threw out its shipping envelope when I received it. Considering I am disabled, this is going to be a bit more difficult for me. It seemed like a good part to me and I have replaced many of these on different kinds of automobiles in the past. This was the first one that had to have one lug soldiered in place, so that was a challenge. It seemed easy enough to return/exchange the item, but now I have thirty days to return or else I'll be billed for the new item. Even so, $124 is much more reasonable than the selling price at the local auto parts store. You won't believe it, but I only charge $1. 00 each! I thought it was so interesting to hear about the mark-up!.

It is normal for this voltage regulator to be installed in an alternator such as this. During the first two days, it worked well with 14 computers. At the battery, there is a 2 volt charge. Upon testing with a meter, the diodes are in good condition, and the battery is new as well. My computer stopped working just now. If I put the key switch on and turn on the field wire, there are 12 volts, so it is not a blown fuse. There's no other explanation, but to blame It will take me a few days to receive it.

Your alternator can be rebuilt for a lot less money! Ensure that you research the application for which you are writing. The kit worked for my alternator, however I had to make a few adjustments to make it work.
