An alternator from the 1975 Lincoln Mark II has side terminals, a single V pulley, and an extension cord. Regulatory agency. The kit has a yellow paint on it, is it 60, 65, 70 or 90 amps? Which one is it?

According to my understanding, yellow and orange alternators are 40 amp, green ones are 60 amp, and 70 amp ones

I put my 1970 Ford truck alternator back together using the steps in the manual, but I could use a better step-by-step guide. Make sure you retrace how it breaks apart, and keep an eye on it when it does. As well, at the auto parts store I had to purchase the aft (rear) bearing. I didn't get both bearings in my box, so it cost $5/6. If you have a bearing press, you may be able to get the bearings in and out easily. At the same time that you rebuild your alternator, you should also replace or check your voltage regulator.
