On this particular pigtail, you can see that one of the holes is larger than the wire. This wire carries far more current than the others, and it could easily melt or ignite with too much current. These pigtails do not incorporate the wire letter designation. Despite the fact that this product is junk, its maker went above and beyond to sell you it.
The product description says that you will receive "three 18 gauge leads and one 12 gauge lead". This is not There are no differences in the wire gauge among the wires. Hope I won't be hurt in the rear by not having the 12 gauge size on the voltage sensing wire. My wiring didn't have color coding, but I knew this from the beginning, so I didn't worry about it.
