In any case, I took the pulley off my old alternator and swapped it with the one in In 1987 Chevy Trucks, you would get that kind of deal.
Alternator part number for the same model that has a 6-volt The groove serpentine pulley has a 7294-inch diameter
The maximum power is 100 amps. Many thanks for your help
Whether or not it will will remain unknown to me. It might be worth checking the powermaster webpage to see if it

The program works as expected. After I converted my hot rod to an EFI engine, I had to replace the electrical system. In the past, the voltage had been fine at idle before the conversion. When the engine was running at 720 rpm, there was a voltage of 13 or so. As soon as Holley EFI conversion was completed, voltage was down to approximately 11 volts! The following one sounded good to me after some research. I needed at least 90 amps to run two electric fans, the stereo amp, the fuel pump, and the EFI unit alone, so I decided to order a 115 amp alternator to give myself some wiggle room. The electrical load is relatively low when I have enough headroom, which is what you really In addition, to handle the load on the alternator, I upgraded my wire gauge to 8 gauge. A single wire hookup alternator, which is very easy to install, is included. It really is. A single wire connects it all.
I purchased this to go with an 1985 Grand Wagoneer with a 5 liter. The nine lions. Install was easy and I tried it as a one wire. I didn't receive a charge for using it. The charge still isn't coming on despite increasing the RPM and checking the ground. After two days, I was able to replace my bag with the new one thanks to Amazon returns and reorder. I was able to get 14. This time I installed again. The idle speed should be at least 8. This is a nice feeling. Six months have passed since the last update and around 500 miles have been driven on a truck rated at under 200 horsepower. This morning, the alternator screamed after it started after a new battery was installed. An alternator voltage jumps from 10 to 12 in a very short period of time. During the past 6 months, two alternators have failed. The one I should have purchased from a local parts store would at least have been covered by.
After installing one alternator in my Jeep YJ in the last six months, I installed a second one this week. This one is much better than the chrome no-brand one I bought for $115 that burned out after 6 months (little or no driving)
So I figured I would upgrade to it. This is a worthwhile investment. Now, you should know that this applies to the SBC 400 NOT the.
I'm impressed with how well this alternator works. When mine kept my battery alive and I had a nice size winch on the front of the tractor and, occasionally, an electric spray rig on the back, I'd have the perfect setup. Although, the voltage measurement is accurate by my donut current display and the current rating is pleasing.
The installation was just recently completed and is At the moment, I'd rate it a five-star product on appearance only. As with the original alternator from my 79 Chevy G20 van that was still charging but noisy because of the bearing, I hope it lasts at least as long as this one. On the alternator, I noticed that the internal regulator was set at 14. This led me to be concerned. The voltage is 8 volts, which I consider to be It appears that there are 14 volts in the battery. With the engine running, the voltage in my car is about 6 volts, which is on the high end for acceptable but okay since most of my driving is short distance.
It worked great for me, I was getting 14 wires, but this is just one. The voltage is 10 volts at idle, and I have it mounted on my test stand. I am running 2 electronically controlled cooling fans and one hybrid distributor, and I am getting 14 volts at 2000 rpm.
Throughout my experience with powermaster alternators, I have never been disappointed. It was dynoed at 96 amps at idle with no malfunctions! I am actually running my suzuki at 14 volts right now, even with the electric fan and offroad lights on!.
Now that it has been there for a year, it is no longer new. It was immediately apparent what a difference there was. You will no longer dim the headlights when the fan is turned I have continued to use it without any problems. The quality of this part is far superior to that of.
