Product Description

LS truck/SUV iron blocks can have a second mounting hole drilled and tapped to allow low mount alternators and other accessories to be fitted. This template allows the center point to be marked for drilling and tapping.

For drilling and tapping, this step allows you to accurately mark the center of the hole.

The aircraft grade, USA-made billet aluminum is made in Wichita, Kansas

A drill template made of aluminum is included in the package.

Greetings, I purchased a drill bit and a tap set related to home improvement A new "R" bit was added to the end. A matching tap is included that measures 10mm x 1 and comes with this item for $399 or 55/64" It has a slant of 5. I am very pleased with the results. Nine dollars were spent on it

I wish that it could function more as a drilling guide instead of only being a tool for marking drill holes. It would have been better to include a point to ensure the drill is pointing straight and level as a lot of people aren't very good with a drill. Nonetheless, it's just 10 dollars, so you have no reason to In the event that it held the drill level and such, I would pay triple that amount.

If you work with LSx engines, this is a must-have tool

Product fits perfectly and is a great tool for determining the size and location of the hole that needs to be drilled for lower alternator configuration on LSx iron blocks. In my opinion, the only way it can be improved is to weld a spacer to the hole that needs to be drilled as a guide to ensure that the drill bit is perfectly centered before drilling.

There is an error with this tool. It functions exactly as intended. As a matter of fact, this tool is Despite what you think, the hole is NOT just in the middle of the circle on the block. It's worth it, and it will save you time and headaches.
