Used on a 1976 Pontiac Grand Prix (with a 1972 455 engine) with no issues. A new wiring system and new gauge should provide a maximum output of There is a 6 volt battery. This product came with one wire nut on the back side and a top bold. There is no main bolt or bushing in the package. Neither came with wiring nor were the instructions clear on how to wire it back to the battery in 8 gauge (if I remember correctly).

"PRETTY!" was all that could be said for the Powermaster alternator

This item cannot be returned or exchanged if I don't have clear instructions or information on how to do so. I had the alternator professionally installed after working on the body for months, but once it failed I was A voltage reading of less than 12 Volts is recorded. The part I used was a 135 Amp part, which I paid almost $200 for. No sense in spending money on something that As far as I am concerned, there is no clear way for me to exchange this item. There were a lot of expectations this was such a Nonetheless, it seemed to make a good first impression, but not in the slightest sense of the word.

As well as looking great (polished aluminum), the alternator actually performs well as well. A great deal of power at idle and up to I solved the low current problem I was having with the stock (tired) alternator I had.
