Intended to take some punishment. Steel that is extremely strong and thick. I had a FOX reservoir shock that broke within two months of installation due to a broken ALUMINUM bar pin. This JKS rear shock bar pin replaced the old ones I had on it and I am at ease recommending it to anyone looking for a high-quality component Part that will likely last for a long time. My Jeep Rubicon may fall apart before these things ever fail. This is a serious issue What you need are these things. Taking the time to spend an extra few bucks on the best bar pins out there is really worth it. There are no regrets to be had.
My 2011 JK was very happy with this tool. also bought a set of bushings for them The bushings on the top and bottom of the energy suspension 9 are new. This 8107R 5/8" screw features a rounded end design A solution has been found to the problem. In order to compress the new bushings, you will need a vice or clamp. Unless you have experience with fixing laptops that takes a lot of time. I took about 30 minutes to complete. You don't have to worry about crushing bushings and having them slide up the pin, so it is well worth the money. I will follow up with an update to this post in case there are any problems.
It will do you a favor to note that there is a step where you must compress the bushing inside the gold blocks to get the holes to I actually exploded a plastic vice grip doing this so take caution with what you do. In the past, I've been successful with metal crushers that were big and burly Use a dead-clamp and then use a dead-clamp A puncher should blow a hammer on a pin to drive it down.
My Jeep JK broke its bar pin and I needed this to replace it. As soon as you look at them, you realize that they are ridiculously heavy duty, so they are virtually impossible to break. If you want to cut the bolts they include to bolt to the frame, you might want to trim the end a little bit.
However, once I did, these were installed in about 30-45 minutes I took about 45 minutes to do each side. I had trouble removing the bushing from the bar pin, but that was easily resolved. I had to press it out using a vise from one side. I'm very satisfied with this product. JKS never fails to deliver.
As a former owner of two sets for other vehicles, I can say I can never buy any other kind. You won't need another set because they are so ridiculously overbuilt. You'll need a vice since you'll need to squash the screws a lot to get them on properly.
It appears that Jeep uses a piece of beep for its bracket. I like the way this one fits and is strong. There was no problem. I have a 2015 Willy.
I ordered it for my Rubicon and it fit perfectly.
