This is made of steel, and I ordered it for that reason alone. The 6degree fixed my steering wander due to 1 3/4" shackles and 2 degree fixed my steering wander due to 1 3/4" shackles and 2 degree fixed my steering wander due to 1 3/4" shackles and 2 degree fixed my steering wander due to 1 3/4" 5" lift in the suspension. Longer bolts had to be ordered separately.
My CJ7 was lifted 4 inches and the 6 degree shims were used in the front. There is nothing in the back.
It's a pair, if my memory serves me correctly.

For my 1975 CJ5, I purchased two sets. If you look closely, you'll notice that the 1975 CJs (and earlier) had 1. My Jeep has stock springs that are 75" wide and these are 2" wide. However, there were two factors that prompted my desire for these: (1) Warrior Products does not manufacture 1 3/4" wide spring shims, and (2) I required steel rather than aluminum. br>br>So, get out your Sharpie and mark these on the sides where they meet the spring U-bolts. Take your DeWalt grinder and "adjust" the bolts so that they are 1. In those areas, the width is 75 inches. These will then work flawlessly and will be far superior to the cheapo breakaway aluminum ones (for which you must purchase a box of six because you must be running an alignment shop out of your garage). br>br>Purchase these for your narrow-width vehicle. axled CJ's, get the job done, and cruise down the road like an old timey man- who- can- You can rest assured that the axles will remain in place. Then clean up, apply just enough but not too much mustache wax, and mount your lady in the manner she has indicated. It's been a fantastic day thus far.
These are ideal for adjusting the castor angle on older CJs, such as my 1979 CJ-80. Now that the 2 is in place, the 7 drives fantastically. The right castor angle and a 5" lift.
Shim at 6 degrees. 2" wide, ideal for castering a lifted 1983 Jeep CJ front axle properly. Shims are made of steel that has been machined. The surface is not painted and has a bare finish. For what it is, I believe it is excessively expensive.
These items are fantastic! There will be no more jeeps on the loose. Installing it was a breeze. The pin bolts that go up the middle will have to be purchased, but they're easy to come by and work with.
My 79 CJ 7 was a perfect match. My shackle lift's caster problems were resolved thanks to your assistance. My Jeep is now running much more straight. It makes driving a lot less stressful.
I'm going to have to say that the shim is fantastic. It's a pity about the drilling. Each of the four shims has a different depth of hole. Only about a sixteenth of an inch of material remains on one of them. not satisfied.
After lifting 4 inches, it was a perfect fit for my CJ5. As desired, the pinion angle was corrected.
It does exactly what it says on the tin. The pinion angle should be increased by 6 degrees.
