Are these genuine front-end heavy-duty springs or just leaf replacements? Also, does it make you taller in any way?

They are, in fact, heavy-duty leaf spring replacements. Unless you're thinking of shocks, these are the only kind of springs on the cart's front. Because they are thicker than original, they will raise your cart to a slightly higher ride height if it is older. (Springs straighten out over time, resulting in a lower ride height.) Definitely worth considering for four-person carts. If you have a two-seater, it may be a little stiff.

Perfect for my cart, as I recently discovered it had very little front travel before the front shocks bottomed out

I have a 6" lift in both the front and rear, and I noticed the front was lower than the back. It had that rake you'd see on a 1970s muscle car. I figured my front springs were sagging, so I bought these HD front springs in the hopes of bringing the front up again. I also have a front brush guard and a clays basket, so there's a little extra weight on the front, especially when loaded up for shooting. These springs are excellent; they raised the front end of the vehicle by two inches. The cart is now level, and it can carry the additional weight I require. These are ideal for replacing worn-out springs and providing accessories.
