Questions & Answers
No, you're still restricted to the towing capacity of your truck. All you're doing is adding another leaf to keep the load from sagging. There is no change in vehicle capacity.
Yes, the Center Bolt and Nut were included in my 1987 Blazer. I didn't need the new "U" bolts that it didn't come with. br>To get the bolt through and the nut started, I used two "C" Clamps to pull the spring pack together. It went much more smoothly than I had anticipated. br>At first, the Blazer sat tall, but after a few months, it dropped to a more normal height. In the last 18 months, it hasn't sunk any. It worked out perfectly for towing a trailer; the back end no longer sags when I hitch up a trailer.
There are no friction pads included, and there are no mounting holes. Perhaps friction pads that fit like a glove are available? When I installed it, I didn't use any pads, and there is no noise or binding. YMMV
Don't forget that each truck model is unique.

I'm completely blown away. These were a breeze to put together. It took about 30 minutes per side, and the truck's back end was lifted about 4 inches at first. It settled down to about 2 inches of lift, as reported in other reviews. I bought these because I needed to tow a small trailer for work and the back end of my truck was sagging too much. The trailer's extra weight is no problem for the suspension after it's been installed. Anyone would benefit from these. br>*An update to the review. br>I bought a second set for my Chevy S10 2 because the first set worked so well. br>I strongly advise anyone with a sagging suspension to use this product.
With a trailer, trucks are fantastic, but without one, they can be rough. Added 1. 5" apprx.
Installed in less than an hour, the rear was lifted by 4 inches right away, then settled down to about 2 inches after a few days. It's highly recommended that you put 100-percent of your effort into it. If you put 200 pounds in the back corners of the vehicle, it will settle faster and wear in more evenly, but you won't notice any difference. With the extra spring back there, it appears that the shocks don't have to work as hard to bounce back, so the truck is slightly stiffer now. This is an excellent purchase. There's nothing superfluous about this lift.
There are no surprises with this item because it is of high quality. My Ranger now stands 21/4" taller in the back. I haven't double-checked the height, but I believe it may have dropped a quarter-inch due to the suspension settling, which is completely normal. br>New center bolts were provided, despite the fact that nothing in the advertisement stated that they would be included. However, you will have to provide your own spring clamps. There's no need to be concerned. I am completely satisfied with my purchase.
I put it on the back of my 1968 Camaro.
On my 2005 Ranger, I needed a little more lift. Add- Leaf was a breeze to work with and has performed admirably for the past year!.
bolts. I had to get new u-locks because they didn't fit right. For an extra $38, you can have bolts made. In order for them to function properly, you must pay $0. 00.
Excellent GReat.
