Make sure your shocks are in good shape before fitting Bilsteins
4/5

This is a well-made product, hence my rating of 4 stars. This steel is thick and nice. In any case, they don't suit. Bilstein shocks cannot be fitted because they are just an eighth inch too narrow. There is also a problem with the bolt hole. It is 2 1/2 inches wide, but apparently it During installation of these on a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado HD, I also changed the brake pads. Please take this into consideration. You should weld them on after ensuring they are the right size. Take care to choose good quality.

Those brackets are strong! I bought these for a trailer I'm building that will go off-road
5/5

They are perfect for what you need. I think thick gauge steel will hold up much better. It's not thin or flimsy. This is a large beer!.

This needs to be modified
3/5

The Silverado 1500 LS I have is a 2002 model. I had to modify both these brackets and my shocks in order to get them to fit my truck. In addition to being shorter and narrower than the original brackets on my truck, the bolt holes were relatively My task required me to bore out the hole for the bolts and grind down the spikes on the This is George.
