The 2000 Jeep XJ is a When you replace rear shocks, the install nuts for the rear struts will be rusted and you will have to air hammer them out. You will be amazed at the difference this will make in your life! I managed to do it with one person, although it was a bit challenging. If there is not enough space to hold it, have a friend hold it in place while you install the new bolts for the new struts. Don't buy the most I was able to save a few dollars using this method.
Shock bolts with rust or broken ends can be repaired with this solution. The bolts can be ground off, the shocks can be removed, and the factory holes can be punched out. A Jeep Cherokee like mine with rust all over can be installed quickly and easily with these parts.

If you have a Cherokee, I strongly recommend them to you.

in the shock mounts did not line up with the holes in the holes. In order to make the shock mounts work, I had to grind slots into them using an angle grinder. They are good at what they do except for that. If I had bought bolts after removing the factory nuts, I could have pulled them through and attached them to the holes just as easily and for less money.
Shock absorbers are needed to replace them, which makes the job.
