To mount your new weight transmitter in the unibody recess, remove the factory nuts welded into the body, slide the bar pin flag nut into the body hole, and use the flag nut handle to line up your new mounting point.

It is compatible with Jeep Cherokee XJ 4WD/2WD models between 1984 and 2001. These flag nuts rusted out on your Cherokee XJ rear bar pin shock mounts and could result in a serious safety hazard.

I would not recommend buying. It is not possible to thread a bolt through because the nuts don't line up. The document had to be re-edited A nut and a bolt are welded together.
