Selected User Reviews For Dorman 917-503 Wheel Hub Bolt for Select Models, 3 Pack , Black
Dorman 917s are available in these variants There are several reasons why 503 bolts fail to bolt to Kappas, even though they have been used in so many other GM vehicles from that As far as quality is concerned, the product is just as good as stock. The Kappa platform has a M12 1 code. There are 75mm 45mm heads = 1 M12 and 15mm bodies, respectively. The lens has a diameter of 75mm and a head diameter of 13mm. They are about 3 to 4 years old This cuff is four millimeters too long and will bind just before it becomes tight against the hub or lug nut heads. This shoulder is as wide as a stock shoulder. Use 13mm air tool sockets (6 point preferred over 12 point). As a last resort, you can still use these that you obtained from GM or NAPA for the cars in the headline. To get a clean engagement of threads, use a dremel grinder disc to cut off 3 threads and then chamfer the edges. If the material is bound, loosen a bit, remove, and inspect by hand. To torque down the threads, clean off the threads and torque down the threads at 60 ft/lb for two turns. If there is free rotation of the wheel, make sure it is. Make sure you check all sides of the Sky and Solstice as well they might be loose or gone.
The doctor's prescription was just what the doctor It is a bargain to buy these Wheel Hub mounting bolt sets by Dorman. As for the bolts, the local dealers wanted as much for 1 bolt, but Amazon seller Dorman offered the same bolts in sets of 3 for about the same price. A few things should be mentioned. GM recommends replacing the mounting bolts when replacing a wheel hub. The insurance is quite good, in my opinion. I misread the website for a local parts store and it says that they do have the Dorman 3 bolt set 3917-8453 in stock. There is a little bit of a price difference, and they must be ordered in directly from the manufacturer. The store was unable to hold them in stock.
, para. They were installed on a Buick Century 2000. This bolt has to be torqued to 96 foot pounds according to the manufacturer. Three different types of 13 mm sockets were used to round the hex head on these bolts, and all three people did so with The sockets are not the culprit, so I doubt it's them. There is definitely an element of sloppy feeling with 13mm, but not that I didn't have to hammer the OEM bolts that I removed because the factory OEM bolts weren't loose at all. In fact, if they were any tighter, I would have needed to hammer them back This will be returned and I'll try to find something else that might be a little better.
My 2010 Impala was fitted with these mounting bolts to replace the old ones. It fit perfectly. The thread was the right weight and the length was correct.
I am the right one.
I installed these on my O7 impala, and they worked well, but the price is quite high and I have no clue why in the world they are that expensive.
This was for the replacement of the front hub assembly on a 2008 Chevy Impala. A few car shops might suggest replacing this bolt but for only a few dollars, it adds an additional layer of protection to the car.
It fits and works. These 4 hubs were all direct fit, and came in a set of three. The bolts came with blue thread lock, as shown in the picture. The 2005 Impala 3 fits this model. A perfect score of 4.
