Will this fit a '98 Trans Am WS6? I'm having a clunking sound in the rear under torque, and the only thing I can think of is that the original bushing and tranny mount are both weak. ?

Yes, it will work. It was a perfect fit for my 1998 Z28. Grind the rivits that hold the original bushing in the clamshell bracket off, then squeeze the clamshell around the new bushing with channel lock type pliers to begin the bolts. It is beneficial to have an additional person.

Is this compatible with a 1998 Camaro V6? I bought the three because they were the only ones I could find. It weighed 1112g and did not fit when it was supposed to. Is there a reversal of the entrance? I'm in desperate need of information. ?

The bracket needs to be altered.

I . This item was not as described when it arrived. I'm not sure if this was a bad batch or if it was mislabeled by Energy Suspension. I did a lot of research and ordered the correct part number, which is also on the label; however, the bushing has a large hole in the middle. I'm hoping that the replacement part is the one I require.

A design that is bulletproof

Just make certain you get them all. A design that is bulletproof. Simply ensure that all rivets are ground off and that the old bushings and steel backers are completely removed. Simply lube it and slide it on once that's done. You're finished when you replace the clamp.

My Firebird was in desperate need of something like this

My vehicle is a 1988 Pontiac Firebird Trans AM (GTA). When I was shifting gears a few months ago, I began to hear a metal to metal banging sound. After crawling under the car to investigate, I discovered that the factory bushing on the torque arm had worn out to the point of being completely gone. This replacement was discovered on Amazon, and I placed an order for it. It arrived quickly, and I got right to work installing it. The issue has been resolved. Since I set it up, I haven't heard a single metallic clank. The quality of this part, which is made of urethane rubber and should outlast the factory bushing, is excellent. Of course, the factory bushing lasted for 25 years, so I can't really complain.

The outcomes of the suburbs. Original equipment manufacturer compatibility There was no more clunking after I took the heavy throttle slap out of the rear. Kudos. However, I needed assistance to begin the bolts because the bushing was stiff and I couldn't compress it into the bracket on my own.
