Selected User Reviews For Moog K200064 Trailing Arm Bushing
The Mazdaspeed3 I had in 2008 was a much better vehicle to replace. In order to replace the old bushing with this new one, I removed the trailing arm and took it to a shop. I've had it for a week and it works great. I was only able to give 4 stars because the metal bar that gets bolted to the chassis is just a flat piece. In the original, there are four corners. Due to the fact that the load is primarily forwards and backwards, not up and down, it is probably just as strong. Whatever the case may be, they seemed to cut corners when it came to material costs.
I tested it on an M3 and it worked flawlessly. For the press, you will need to affix it to the arm. If you are worried about getting it perfectly aligned, there are flat spots on the metal edge of the bushing to use for alignment.
The rear end is just like OEM
Now I just need to complete the entire rear end. The bolt disappeared, now where does it.
It was cheaper than the regular auto store cost. Although it wasn't easy to do without the right tools, I would say it was worth it.
I think this part, rather than paying Mazda $200 each for new trailing arms, is much nicer. DIY jobs can be quite challenging, but not impossible. It is only a matter of removing the rusted bolts, tightening the bolts, and then removing the trailing arm. It is imperative to have access to a press and a variety of press It is crucial to position them the same way you oriented the old ones. also be a good idea to have your alignment checked after all is put back together.
This time, Moog delivers on what it promises, plus a little bit more. Unlike many manufacturers, their suspension components are very high quality, and for the third time in the past year, I had to replace OEM suspension components Moog's trailing arm bushing has always been excellent as described and is even better than the OEM part. Five stars as usual!.
It fits The item arrived exactly as described, as well as fitting perfectly into my 2005 Mazda 5 hatchback. The product appears to be of good quality, and I found it to be a good Installation of this part will be tricky, regardless of brand, and you'll need a hydraulic press to do it.
