There are some questions about the Sadly, the stock bushings on my car have been ripped off in a short period of time. The bagged car is the best/most economical solution that I could come up with. Due to air suspension's travel, this is the cheapest option I could find. By shifting the trailing arm toward the body of the vehicle, the bushings allow the arm to remain fixed to the body. These are much better than the ripped out stock ones, but they have also caused the suspension to move weirdly to the side when I pull into a driveway. It was easy to clean up shafts on an angle grinder with a wire wheel. It was relatively simple to take out the installed rubber bushing with a wood cutting blade attached to a handheld The bushings I use for this press tool are made from two pieces of wood and a large nut / bolt. It is very difficult to get them into straight positions without them shifting, and they are coated in marine grease that can be removed only My solution was to tighten it down and then use a pipe to align it on the large bolt of the press.

It is the most economical way to upgrade the trailing arm bushings
5/5

This trailing arm bushing has been the subject of a lot of scary stories, but it has also been the subject of a lot of positive things, as well. While I was rehabilitating/replacing my suspension bushings, I decided to go with these as I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg replacing them, and I felt the re-use of these bushings would work better. This was a great idea to use the sleeves. Once you get the OEM rubber off with heat and a wire wheel, the bushings are nice. The car handles and feels much more solid on the road. I also changed the front suspension bushings so how much of that stability is due to this bushing That's all I need to know!.

I have a 1996 Honda civic DX four door and it looks awesome
5/5

I have a 1996 Honda civic DX four door and it looks awesome. It is nearly impossible to install my new bushings due to their thinness. I was planning to buy the OEM type bushings, but decided to use these because they looked clean. This is the best choice you've ever made. To reach the bushings, we had to begin with taking the car apart due to Having to remove the old bushings and rings and replace them with OEM bushings would have killed me hilariously. They are the work of a genius, whoever designed them. The old bushing can be removed by simply cutting it off the ring it's set into. In the trailing arm, you leave the old metal ring in place and press in the new energy bushing with grease and a press constructed from a long threaded rod and Use the metal dog bone from the old bushing to reinforce the new A real spring press costs less than $10 to make and is really useful. Energy bushings are more efficient thanks to the new You now have a Better trailing arm bushing by pressing it into the metal ring and pushing the dog bone in with it. Excellent quality, saves a LOT of time, and it takes up very little space! I have had it on my car for almost two years, and I love it! You'll be glad you have these replacement bushings if you need to replace your trailing arm bushings!.

Designed to fit 99 Civic perfectly
5/5

I like them very much. Especially important is to ensure that the bushing you use is OEM. Reusing the old hardware is more economical, but make sure that it is OEM. As soon as I tried to replace mine, I learned too late that the hardware my car had wasn't the Original Equipment Manufacturer and was aftermarket. This meant going to a junk yard to While I was searching for the old hardware, I had to weld a piece of pipe onto one of them.

I love how easy it is, and how it fits like a charm - except the squeak
5/5

Installing will be a piece of cake if you have a press. If you have a press, it will be even easier, but if you don't have one, the long stud with bolts and washer will work. Just to install them, it takes 5 minutes on each side. Even removing and sanding out the old bushings is not included in the above estimate, but one thing is for certain It squeaks when you hit bumps.

You are awesomesauce! The bushings that came with the car are great
5/5

They are hard to install though, so I would recommend having them done by a shop unless you have a big press and a torch. Otherwise just grease them up and you will notice a huge difference in handling.

The work I did on my 93 Honda Delsol was great! This is simple! The ride was amazing! I am very pleased with it! are some people who say polyurethane doesn't last, but I have found that you have to grease them with the grease provided by polyurethane and they will last for years! The correct way to do this is

Stiffness of the suspension has been markedly improved

If you do not have the special tools, it is a bit tricky to install, but use the ES grease on the contacts so that no squeaks occur. With the toe adjustment on my 25-year-old Integra (purchased separately), I can drive without a heel lift.
