I feel sorry for the poor guy who, like me, tries this in his driveway. What a thorn in the side. If I had a time machine, I'd go back in time and pay someone to do it, as well as upgrade to a solid rubber version, because this is going to fail again in 10 years. I'll be out of it in 12 years, but at the very least I'll no longer own it.

You may not require this part; I did not require this part, but the technician replaced it anyway after removing the drive shaft to remove the differential bushing

The drive shaft was the real issue, and I had to spend a lot of money to fix it.

It did what it was supposed to do. It was difficult to install, but that was GM's fault; I've had it for a few months and it still works as it should. I'd buy it again, but I'm hoping I'll never have to install one.
