Would a quick question from which part of the vehicle are you facing in order to know which way the arm points to the ground? Or would we be standing in front of the car in order to know which way it points?

Below is a picture of the rear of the passenger side. From inside the vehicle, you can view it as if it were inside of you.

In this case, I am wondering if it is a left hand drive or a right hand drive vehicle I have a right hand drive car I want to buy for I do not want to buy the wrong one?

Until the passenger side is changed to the right rear, it will remain on the right. It doesn't matter if it's a RHD or LHD.

Could you please tell me if it works for Mazda Protége ?

Those have been working for me for over a year and I've not had a single problem with them
