Questions & Answers
It works on both sides (right and left). Front Right). A different kit is required for the rear bushings.
It's not difficult, but you must lower the frame, inspect it for rot, sand any surface rust, and paint it with rustolum to keep it from rusting.
There are two included. The front subframe does not have any uppers. The rear mount is made up of two pieces. The washer that sits on top of the mount, as well as the four small nuts, are not included in this kit. Those, too, need to be replaced.

With these, you've got to be cautious. Torque the small nuts that hold this in place, but not too much. I discovered that I had broken two of the bolt stems on either one, but after everything I had been through, I wasn't in the mood to return them and get new ones. It's worth it, but it's a little more difficult than the rears because you have to reach up and over the frame to install the nuts, and mine would spin because the old bolt stems had come loose from their weld joint and were free to move as well. The center bolt will almost certainly be eaten to oblivion, and you can't help but wonder how this thing held anything at all. However, when combined with the Rear Bushings, it is well worth the effort to help stiffen your ride and improve engine performance. I say performance because you won't get that "lunge" feeling from the engine pushing forward as you drive, making you feel less tense around curves. This isn't good for the engine's drive train; the key is to use anti-lock brakes. Take advantage of everything to help extend its service life by 5 years.
Excellent substitute.
Exactly what I needed.
It's a nice product, but be cautious. Two are included in the kit. That applies to both parties. Do not buy two boxes if it says two are required. That's exactly what occurred to me. Now I have an extra set that I won't use.
The same as OEM. However, nuts should be included.
The front mounts on my Taurus were split, but the rear mounts (on the front subframe) were fine.
The price was reasonable, and the problem was resolved. It's fairly simple to set up.
