The flat four plug is mounted on this simple plastic mount. The order I received did not come with plugs or wires. There's nothing fancy about it, but it does the trick.
Yes, I agree Using a clamp, you can unplug and plug a connector at the same time. In addition to holding the plug snuggly in place, it also gives the vehicle a neat appearance instead of having the wires hanging loose. The following two items were bought by me Each of my vehicles has its own. The product is excellent.

" To go with Hopkins 42475 Plug-in bracket I purchased this bracket "Simple Vehicle Wiring Kit" (that part number is specific to the Jeep Liberty KJ, but I wouldn't be surprised if it applied to all Hopkins Plug-In vehicles. Wiring kits with simple features have the same four main components Plug with a flat end). Those other "universal" 4-sided tapes didn't work for me, so I bought this instead There was something wrong with the flat plug bracket, which was not universal. It clamps around the plug cap retainer, so even if the cap falls off the plug, it won't be lost. I paired it with the "Tow Ready 118140" bracket to attach it to my hitch receiver instead of zip-tying it. Drilling a new hole or tying a new knot. It took a trip to the hardware store to get the longer screws I needed than what came with the Tow Ready bracket, but the holes on both brackets lined up and it made for a very clean installation. This purchase has been a great success for me, and even if it only lasts for a few years, it is very cost-effective, so I would definitely purchase.
The drawtite hitch we installed on our 2017 Toyota Highlander was designed by Drawtite. The plug is mounted on the cross bar by a tab welded to the cross bar. With the wiring kit I used, I just ziptied on a plain 4, which was the flat 4. The installation is somewhat functional, but it is not the most aesthetically pleasing My order was placed after I found this. Since I used a different wiring kit, my contour was different than Hopkins' and could not be used. In short order, I purchased a short Hopkins flat 4 to flat 4 extension from the local auto parts store and was up and running. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the fit is not as snug as I would like it to be. There is a lot of play in the fit. Although it is much more attractive than zipties, it works just as well.
Obviously this product is a five star product if you can find a connector you can use. The same holder (maybe not the same brand) is included in some Volvo OEM trailer hitches. You should not buy this bracket if you already have a Curt harness in place as Curt connectors are much chunkier than this bracket. Don't buy it if you have a U-shaped hole in it A connector for a haul truck.
This Hopkins product is decent, but there is a problem with the packaging that I'm giving it a poor review A public announcement. As seen in the "primary" product photo, the mount and wiring harness are shown along with the product. This is an assumption one would make, but it does not appear in the list. The rest of the chapter is excluded. There is a separate order for that. There is nothing worse than companies wasting my time because they do not take the time to present accurately their product! Is this the end Sorry, but no. Due to this delay, my project will have to be put on hold for a while. Also known as Get it together, Hopkins. I didn't do anything but waste my time.
As long as the task was completed, I liked it. My wire harness had to be modified to fit, so I had to modify it. It had a large surface area of plastic in the inside of the bracket that I had to clean out to make the thick rubber arm attach to the plug dust cover fit completely inside. Additionally, the plug was too fragile and needed thickening so I cut some pieces of rubber. It remains strong after being modified. It doesn't budge when I apply a lot of pressure to it. I believe it's an excellent way to begin making your needs met at a low cost.
When installing a T connector style wiring harness (with a flat 4 pin connector) on your vehicle, and you prefer not to have your wires dangle in the wind, the connector shield is the product you need. It was confusing to me that the prior review mentioned the shape of the connector being round or square, and almost passed this item up based on that. Regardless if you live in the US or have a standard flat four pin connector, you will be able to use this. There are two self tapping screws included with the receiver, so you can install it immediately. On one side, the base is rounded to mount on a tubular receiver, and on the other side, a flat base is used. In my opinion, pre-production would be ideal You must drill the holes (with the supplied screws) earlier on when mounting the receiver on your car if it is your first installation. A divot made with a punch will help the screw to stay in place if you are drilling into tubes. This is not included with my T-shirt, but it was included with my T-shirt (for me) By the same manufacturer, you can find the same style of wiring harness. Even the cap's retainer band is notch out so that the bracket can accept it. I highly recommend it.
A good solution to the problem. The plug is held in place tightly and does this and due to its size, can be easily I just wanted to let you know. If the plug has an indicator light or ears on the back, do not use it. There is no way to fit it. You should use a straight plug that does not have any extra You will get a perfect fit and it will remain.
The mount bracket of this product is perfect for four Feature a removable dust cover on the prongs of the connectors. A strap connecting the dust cover and the connector body was wrapped around my connector. Using a clamp, I clamped the mount bracket around the connector, after removing the dust cover from the connector body and adding it to the harness. My next step was to put the dust cover over the connector, which I did after attaching the mount block to the bottom of the receiver.
