Questions & Answers

Thank you. Is the bolt or nut size, and if so, how big is it in metric?

It is my understanding that this bolt is 3/8-inch

There are a few questions I have. Red and black are different colors. How do you tell them apart? What about the thickness? Why is it not included?

There is no difference between red and black, it's just a matter of color preference. A mounted piece of this material is about a half inch thick.

Can you tell me how long the bolt is?

There is about an inch of length on the bolt

What are the implications of using these to prevent the rear axle contacting the frame on a 2004 F150?

There is too little work to be done. There are only about 5/8'' of a thickness to these.

The Nissan Frontier is a 2007 model
4/5

My Nissan Frontier's upper arms have been fitted with this brace. There is a 2" lift up the front, which helps contact between the coil bucket and the tire.

For use on a 2nd generation Frontier / Xterra You will need to drill a hole larger than usual in your upper arm so that the bumpstop bolt can be fitted. After installing the bumpstop on the arm of the vehicle, I attached it with a 3/8 16 wing nut on each side. There's a post on the Newx Xterra forum ("How-to" There is also a helpful article titled "Install Energy Suspension Bump Stops") that has photos and helpful information.

It is very important to double check your order before you place it, in case you get * This Low-Fat Meal Has A profile bump is in order This stop is made from the super-slim This urethane formula is tough and has been leading in the industry for years Over the past decades, suspension has played a significant role in the performance industry. There is a plated bolt (included in the Urethane) and a Nylex plug included in this package. A nut that will not vibrate loose, even when the screws are off-center Currently, the roads are in bad shape. This unit is easily installed and is ready to handle the toughest demands of your off-road vehicle Whether they are roaders or strictly bikers A street machine that will never rust, rot, or fall apart With its long lifespan, this bump stop will serve its purpose for years to come. The bumps have helped me when I've been in a bind The following stops were conducted on my personal vehicles two Land Cruisers, one Crown Victoria, and one Grand Marquis No failure has ever happened to her. As well as installing these on my own vehicles, I have also installed them on customers' without receiving a single complaint. There's no catch, but it's a low-level threat Problem-solver that is low-cost, lasts forever, and is easy to install. Make sure you have a pair!.

It fits perfectly on my 2008 Tacoma
5/5

These were installed on the rear of a lowered Tacoma regular cab to replace the bump stops. There is already a factory hole so there is no need to drill any new ones. There is a bolt already installed to secure the factory bumps. I couldn't have put it better myself.

This bump stop is outstanding
5/5

There seems to be no way to prevent the control arms from hitting the shock towers when the car is slammed. This is a great product. All I did was drill a hole in the location of impact, mark it, and mount them. I like it.

My custom rear bumper will look great with this
5/5

This is a clean and simple design. For my custom rear bumper with a tire/tool carrier, I used a pair of these. The first is horizontal in order to prevent rattling when the tire swings. In the second case, the pivot spindle is used to support the weight of the tire swing and to reduce stress on it. I found these to be very useful.

The best space saver on the market
5/5

A Silverado with a 7" rear drop was the perfect fit for these bumpers. As a result, more axle clearance was provided between a frame and the axle. They appear to be heavy and stiff.
