The following are diesel engines The type of shackle will determine the type of shackle. In order to clarify my title, I want to stress that you need to order the correct spring kit. I would like to focus more on It is important for you to verify which shackles you currently have on your truck before ordering this kit since it includes both bushings for spring and shackle. When I first got this kit I thought I had the shackle bushings (with a metal sleeve), but once I had the shackles and springs off I found out they were molded bushings (without the Due to a lapse in judgment, I misread (nice way of putting it) my kit and re-ordered it it took me another week to finish the project Order is good. For those of you who would like to do it differently, I would say if you have the time, take the springs off first and remove the shackles to identify which are on the truck, and then order the kit afterwards. It would cost me too much time to have it repaired because it is my sole vehicle. So I thought I would try this Rather than being a simple spring replacement, it ended up taking about a week just to replace the rear shackle bushings. I will point out that if you don't have some fancy tool to remove the bushings in one shot (without tearing them or torching and making a mess to clean up later), you can use some 1/2" or 9/16" all purpose nuts/bolts to remove them. Using a foot-long thread, washers and nuts along with a deep well socket of the appropriate size (that fits the sleeve, but still passes through the eye), a piece of metal pipe just bigger than the eye hole, In this method, the sleeve and bushing are both removed at the same time and there is no need for the mess associated with other methods. The 9/16" all-metal tube should be used in place of the 3/4" If you plan to use a socket fitted with a 1/2" ratchet, the impact socket hole will be needed to be bored out.
It is not compatible with the "molded rubber" shackle style. It appeared to be the same problem I had with my 1994 Ford F-250/350. My husband had to go buy a little package of the right Although product quality is good, it is hard to beat.
My previous experience with this company's product on front has been good, and I like how they have been put together for this This grease makes installing the parts very easy, since it makes the installation of the parts a lot.
A great product.
I really like this product. It fits well. It's been three months since my vehicle was last ridden!.
