Would you consider a higher quality product? I don't know
5/5

The price of this product is higher than many of those promoted In the past three years, I have bought two of these "others". As a result of the second "other" failing, we are buying this one.
The project should be able to last for at least a year. All in all, there was not much difference between the "others" and us It is very simple to install. The EGR problem was immediately fixed I expected it to be that way. On the box, it is stated that this product is manufactured in a foreign nation. Depending on its quality, it may be of a higher standard. If it goes on longer, it may be more difficult to deal with. Where does this come from? If you don't hear back in 25 months, please let me know. They say that time will heal all wounds.

You should beware before you begin the replacement process
3/5

I am 100% confident that this item works as it should and that it is compatible with my '02 Focus after it was mounted on the firewall. It was my fault that Ford changed the connector to the sensor and that Amazon didn't have the new connector listed on their site when I checked. This means that if you get this item and have a stock focus, you have to buy a new wire harness, splice your wires to make it work, and you will have to spend another 50 to 180 dollars in order to make this part work. Therefore, for the product itself, it probably gets a 5 out of 5 star rating however, if you want to make it work, you get a 2 out of 5 star rating.

If you cannot afford to buy a new car, then this piece is perfect for you
3/5

The heart of my heart goes out to you if you are buying this for a 2002 Ford Focus. As much as your focus may have worn out as mine has, I am sure that this piece works great. The screw that holds a bunch of wires together on your negative terminal should be tightened up. Your bank account will literally be credited with Having spent a lot of money on pieces like this, I gave up driving my focus because I got tired of buying them every month. And when my engine cracked, I decided that keeping it to fix something else in a month wouldn't be At the time I sold it to a mechanics special on Craigslist, it was still working on the car.

I'm at work
3/5

It is one of the few products I purchased just before April and installed it on my 2004 Ford Expedition We are very happy with how it's working and how easy it was to It took me less than five minutes to complete. There are only two negatives the lack of warranty information and trying to get in touch with.

The machine works, but it needs more already changing the EGR valve after getting a check engine light
3/5

I had hoped the change would fix the stuttering problem some Focis end up with after a while. After an overnight reset, the computer came back on. As a result of searching the Focus chat boards online, it proved to be the camera It should have been a straightforward installation with this part. Although it looks the same as the original stock sensor, the part where you plug in the piggy tail is not exact. Because this one is too large, I cracked my original when I forced it. Also, I checked all the places where I can get auto parts in my area and they are all the It turns out Ford changed the fitting on the sensor piggyback, so you will need to buy that component and rewire it.

After checking the voltages, I found that the DPFE sensor was not working, which caused the check engine light to come back on
5/5

This one was purchased. am having trouble controlling the P0401 code on a 98 Ford Ranger XLT. As opposed to testing the output voltages of the DPFE sensor to determine if it is functional, the shop replaced the EGR valve instead of doing the proper work. After checking the voltages, I found that the DPFE sensor was not working, which caused the check engine light to come back on. It's not only that the truck no longer surges in 3rd gear, but the light has remained off since I bought it here. Using a multimeter is all it takes to find out if they are broken.

Whenever you change the sensor, the EGRA valve assy, and the EGR at the same time, you end up saving some time

If you have a lot of miles (100k), just do these 3 at the same time. It'll be closer to The cover is easy to replace.
