A way to describe this would be that it is made as cheaply as possible. A new Ford one compared to this one when I got it was 35% off on the OHM ratings. Hence, if your computer in your vehicle isn't happy with its input level, I'm not sure how well it will work. The original part I have is a cheap copy, but some vehicles it is made for may not be compatible with this cheap replica.

Ford Ranger '93 has been repaired with code 327. Idler and driving are much better now in addition. Part VP1 is supposed to be of much higher quality than part.

It threw a code 34 right away. Pulling the plug and reading its resistance with a DMM was easy. It was impossible to make sense of the readings.
