I installed it on a ford 2001 windstar and the check engine light went away for about 45 days. Then it came back on, so I got another one from a nearby shop for a little more, but the light did not come back. I had an Erg I changed the valve but the check engine light came back but after I changed this part it went away. Tip Spray WD40 to remove the old one, and do it gently so the old one does not break off while removing it.
It's been a month at best since the sensor failed. I did a little more testing and it turned out that the 5v reference, signal, and ground are all We found the sensor to be filled with water after taking it apart. As a consequence, this sensor had a proper seal, leading to its I bought a Ford OEM part from the Ford dealer.
It was an easy install and the problem was resolved.
A complete waste of time. A replacement of the OBD2 led to all kinds of random codes being generated. This is my second attempt Finally, the part was replaced with an OEM replacement part and everything is working correctly.
