The 2001 Taurus LX vin code 2 flex has been fixed for the P0401 error
5/5

I think it might be a FOMOCO part, since it's design is different from one found on a It is a little larger and has a vent on the I had a P0401 code and tried everything else I could think of, so I bought this program. It cleared the code and the car has more power. The old one can be removed by removing the connector and the whole module can be twisted from side to side to untie the When I did it, the plastic broke, I think it had become hard over time. As soon as I took the nozzles out of the hoses, it turned to dust! Replace the hoses if they need to be heat resistant if you are reusing them. If you need to repair them, hit them with armor all. They are good hoses if you need to repair them, use armor all!.

A fix is provided for P0402 on 2001 Grand Marqs

It is false economy to buy essential items at the big chain discount stores in the name of "saving money. " I have learned this the "hard way" numerous times. Although you might have a "lifetime warranty," you are still likely to return it for the rest of your life (if you can locate As this item is the original Ford part, I am confident that I will not have to replace it any time soon as it lasted 13 years when it came with my vehicle. There was an article of service for Ford trucks. The year 2004. There is a new service recommendation for this part, called the "1", that superseded earlier service recommendations. This is the one that replaces a number of different original parts. Among those instructions are "1) Retrieve continuous DTC(s). " P0401, P0402, P1400 or P1401 that occur are causes for the ignition being turned OFF and the DPFE sensor being replaced. ". During cruise, my Big Merc (2001) was experiencing excessive EGR flow, and the Trouble Code P0402 was displayed. As a result of this part, the problem was completely resolved.

Excellent price for such a high quality part when fixing a 2001 Mercury Sable with the P0401 trouble code
5/5

A slight shudder could be felt if you were really light on the gas at cruising speeds between 30 and 40 mph, or if on cruise control at 55 mph. The ride is nice and smooth and, best of all, the check engine light has gone out. I watched a number of youtube videos on how to back probe the signal wire and test it for proper operation when engaging the egr valve solenoid and it turned out to be a simple problem. I found the price to be fair and the installation to be easy.

A year after starting with a check engine light, I've finally fixed it! Since the DPFE code appeared, the check engine light was on for years in my truck

A motor vehicle). Replacing the EGR valve and several other components in an attempt to resolve the code and light did not work. Last but not least, I checked Amazon and found one by Motorcraft. The code was reset within a minute as I have done it several times before, and since I installed it, my check engine light has not come on, the truck drives a little smoother, and my gas mileage increased, even though I have done it several times before. For the motorcraft (assuming you have a Ford product) part, if you have the trouble code and it has been coming back, then it is the correct part. To make up for the money I wasted procuring knock-offs I bought some off-brand DPFE sensors and other parts, which did not solve my problem I could have bought several of them.

This is an inexpensive and highly effective system that is The mechanic can't match the price and the mechanic doesn't work as well
5/5

A change can be made very quickly. If the code is not cleared, disconnect the battery and the connector, then connect the hose and reconnect the connector. I let you know that yes, it looks different from what came from the factory, but it DOES work. This part is located at the EGR solenoids.

The Mercury Mountaineer was manufactured in 2004

P0402 was the error code I received. As far as the EGR is concerned, it worked as it should. As soon as I replaced the sensor, the light went out. It was still showing on the computer after I reset it, but it has not shown since then.

It was a great purchase due to the quality and price of the Motorcraft part
5/5

In order to get the hoses to come free from the old part, I had to use a pick type tool. Ford Taurus space constraints made the task We have been using the new low voltage sensor for a handful of weeks now and the Low Voltage Engine light has not shown up. Purchasing this was a good decision, as this is something I have no intention of paying for a mechanic to do. Take the initiative and do.
