This worked properly for me. I had a check engine light on and it was determined for my 2005 Ford F150 that it needed a new EGR valve. I installed it without any problems and replaced it with a portable shop light in 20 minutes at night. I had to disconnect the positive battery cable from the vehicle for a few seconds to reset the check engine light after the installation.

Taking out the old one took a great deal of time. I couldn't break the air tube loose no matter how much penetrating oil I put on it. To split it, I used an end cut-off wheel on my disk grinder to make 2 cuts and.
