Product Description

THE SOFTWARE FOR REPLACING THE EGR PRESSURE FEEDBACK SENSOR - The EGR Valve recirculates exhaust gas back into engines cylinders with the EGR Pressure Feedback Sensor monitoring it. By reducing pollutants and hydrocarbon emissions as a side effect of the EGR system, the EGR system helps to increase fuel economy of the vehicle. If your EGR Valve is malfunctioning, you will likely fail the emissions inspection as well.
Our replacement Exhaust Gas Recirculation Pressure Feedback Sensor is a direct replacement and not an OEM part. The EGR Pressure Feedback Sensor can be found on your Mustang, Windstar, Taurus, Thunderbird, E250, E-350 by removing the EGR cover.
WARRANTY - This EGR Pressure Feedback Sensor manufactured by AA Ignition comes with a lifetime warranty against defects. We are happy to provide you with a replacement part for your Escort, F-350, Mark VIII or Town Car should it ever fail. A pressure feedback sensor for the exhaust gas is available for models with the following years 94, 95, 96, 97, 98, 99, 00, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, and 10.

Do you know where this is located on the Grand Marquis?

I believe that this piece should be mounted on top of the EGR valve

What a mess
3/5

The PCM on my computer went bad. The good news is that there are a number of inexpensive DPFE sensors now available on Amazon. The PDFE15 I ordered for my Expedition is the particular one I ordered. After it fitted, I damaged my PCM shortly thereafter. It is best to avoid these cheaper sensors because if the one you get works at a different voltage you could receive PCM codes, and in the worst case scenario, you could damage The cost of that gamble is high.

It's a total waste of time and money
4/5

Two months have passed since then. Their lifetime warranty was backed by their company! I ordered a Chinese part and this one is just as bad as the other one. After two months, he gave up. For the car to be covered under the bs "lifetime warranty," I would have had to take it to a mechanic so that I could have the EGR system diagnosed. It costs $25 to replace the part. Okay, I see what you mean. This is the third sensor I've installed, but I spent the dough on a Ford Motorcraft part instead of a replica. This is an item that works only as the genuine article, not some cheap imitation. A brief update Despite requesting a return, the seller sent a replacement free of charge without conducting a diagnostic or taking my word for it. Cheryl at customer service was amazing! Still, I rate their customer service four stars, but I still believe that the Motorcraft part is better.

We're in deep trouble again
3/5

I had only one trouble code when I started with the old part, but I ended up with five now after installing the new part. The codes are sometimes in conflict with each other. For example, I have both "low voltage" and "high voltage" codes, as well as "insufficient flow" and "overflow. ". Even though I was planning to buy a cheap part from a trusted auto parts store, I'm about to purchase an expensive part. It is better to get the most bang for your buck by buying the expensive part rather than settling.

It installed and worked like it was meant to at first
5/5

It fit correctly and eliminated any code that indicated This seems well made and I hope it will last. A 2000 Mercury Mountaineer with five cylinders was the subject of the application. It is an eight-cylinder engine. The price was great, and the shipping was fast as well. Please update, thanks. There was only a week's worth of it. It took about 150 miles for the check engine light to come on again. There was a 5 volt output voltage when I checked. It is possible to measure 00 volts even if the engine isn't I bought a Ford OEM part with a total of 800 miles on it without any problems.

Neither of these worked
3/5

(Truck has 210k miles, but the engine runs well, but the vehicles were 20 years old. This seems like a good idea changing the sensors that affect drivability and fuel consumption. )
Installed this sensor, drove vehicle to operating temperature, and now the check engine light is on. It has been replaced with a standard brand and all is well now. Also, I'd like to say thank-you Make sure you check the ref voltage and resistance on the connector Before the initial replacement, we replaced the ground and vacuum lines as well.

During the first 300 miles, the car failed
3/5

During the first 300 miles, the car failed. The item was purchased in order to correct an error code P0401. For two days, it did. P1400 is followed by a We replaced the sensor with one from another van, and all codes disappeared. Get a Motorcraft replacement if you are willing to spend a little more.

Emissions will be a thing of the past with this
3/5

I installed this part easily and it worked and I was able to pass emissions on my 2003 Ford Focus ZX3. Following a mix of highway and traffic driving for about 600 miles, I observed two additional error codes in regards to the exhaust flow being too high and a catalytic converter malfunction. Although I did not know the codes before I installed the piece, I'm not sure if this is the reason why I'm experiencing the problem.

This problem has now been resolved
5/5

I no longer have the engine check light on because it was resolved. There was a YouTube video where 8 steps on how to fix YouTube, and this was the eighth. it, since when I have not been able to see the light.
